Sycamore Avenue Elementary School

At Sycamore, character education is woven into every aspect of our school culture. Each month, we highlight a specific character trait that becomes a focal point in classroom discussions and activities. A large sign outside the nurse’s office serves as a constant reminder of that month's trait. Students pass by this sign multiple times each day, reinforcing the importance of the value we are cultivating.

Sycamore's monthly themes are aligned with the Connetquot Central School District's EASL themes. Listed below is each trait and its assigned month.
